LILIOM

Liliom takes center stage as a man deeply connected to his memories and chosen lifestyle, until meeting Julie and proposing to her alters his life. You can see a distorted cube on the stage which is an abstraction of Liliom's stages in life which changes form in every scene with the rotation of the stage.  The intertwined white ropes and fabrics symbolizes the invisible connections that he has to his memories. They can be stretchy on some occasions and strict on others.

Liliom explores the delicate interplay between visible and invisible connections and Liliom is led on a moving journey of self-acceptance and discovery.
